Working under the day-to-day guidance of the Team Leader, we are looking to expand the team and are recruiting engaging and enthusiastic manufacturing operatives, who are interested in acquiring skills and knowledge to manufacture ingredient mixtures on a large scale.

Description

Main tasks of the job

• Packing and weighing up ingredients (mostly herbs and spices)
• Filling, operating and cleaning specialist machinery/mixers
• Keeping accurate production records

Essential skills

• Previous experience in a position which includes manual handling
• Physically fit and able to lift 25kg

• Reliable working and good timekeeping
• Loyal and trustworthy character
• Can work as part of a team with a positive and flexible attitude
• Basic numeracy skills
• Able to watch, listen and learn new skills from colleagues
• Able to read and follow basic manufacturing instructions
• Able to write legibly and accurately to create manufacturing records

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm
